Steven Curtis Chapman

You might be wondering now, who is this guy Steven Curtis Chapman? Well before i go talk about him, I would like to write the long stories that i always like to write. So here goes.....

Had FO reunion on the day before Labour Day, Sunday. The whole event as i had just written started on Sunday, the best day of the week and ended on Monday morning. It was quite fun i guess. Despite being quite a few freshies came compared to the number that signed up for the FOR, it was still fun and I would say successful. The freshies had fun, thanks to all the people who had helped plan and make the whole event works. I, myself had quite alot of fun too, took alot of picture here and there, talk to quite a few of the freshies and know quite a few of them. At least better then in FOC where almost none of the freshies know me. Now in school, they would talk to me and at the least say hi to me. Felt really happy about that, hope more of them would join MIT club and make it an even greater club then it already is. Looking forward to them actually, what they would make the club into and stuff. Seems like I did not really talk about the things that goes on during the FOR huh..... haha sorry for that. Well, we had games and BBQ and also a small birthday celebration for 2 of the year2 and a freshie. Then heard that some of the year2 was drunk and some interesting stuff happens which I did not get to see because I was asleep.

Well enough of the FOR. Wrote a big paragraph on it, lets continue to other stuff.

Next would be about the outing that I just had. It was an outing that I had plan for quite some time, think was like 1 month ago. I was not able to finalise the date and time, and finally 2 weeks ago, I was able to confirm the date and time that almost all of my last year camp group, SUMMIT, member are able to go. I was really excited about it, cause this was the first time that I am able to ask every member except Miss Toh who for some reason just can't come and don't want to come. But this morning, as I was going to school, one of them messaged me saying she got 2 assignments to rush and had to study for next week's exam, so can't make it. Well it was just one person who can't go, so I was not really down or anything. Then later as the day passes and the time of meeting coming soon, another said she had some stuff to do and can't go too. Then later another few called and just had something on for some reason and all can't come. So in the end, from an outing that are suppose to have 12 people, cut into half and only 6 came including myself. Well at that point when I know that it was going to be the few of us, I was really very down. Well we started to have some food at long john, then the fun start to come as we enter the newly build Cathay building. We took lots of photo there, trying to imitate the movie posters. Had lots of fun there. Then later we went to THE MIND CAFE, which I had originally planned to take them to. Had another whole lots of fun again there playing game we never play before. Laughing at each other as we fooled ourselves during the games. Later at last, we went to had dinner and walk to bugis and soon depart for home. Overall, this outing was really fun. Even though only half of the people came for it, we still manage to have much fun and laughter.

Aren't u anxious now that i am finally finish with all the extras in this post? I am finally going to talk about this great guy call Steven Curtis Chapman. Think I am not going to write alot or long paragraph on him, cause I am really not very good in words. Went for his concert yesterday with my caregroup friends from church. I have no idea who he was when I went for the concert. The concert was free, and was held at the same place where we had our service every Sunday. Met up with my CG friends and went to suntec for it. Before the concert start, I met up with my primary school classmate. Had a short chat with him as we had not seen each other for some time. Soon the concert started. Steven is the lead singer. He talks about his life, and about how he came to be where he is now, sharing on gods love for him and everyone. He composed all this songs I think. The songs were all great. As the concert finish, I went straight to buy his CD. It was so good. Now all I want to do is share his songs with everyone I know. Like I had said before, I really don't know how to say how great he is, so sorry if you think I am writing craps here.

Well after all this writing, I felt that God is really great to me and really love me. I had always wanted to buy a CD on songs on God, but did not know what to buy. Now I got myself one which I would not had bought it if I never went for that great concert. Next is, he really helped me on every thing in school, and even my outing to be a great one. It did not go as plan, but it was alot greater then what I had expected to be. Many times I had so much blessings, but I never knew and I continue to complain to him about the things that I did not have. When I think carefully, he really did fulfill the things that I want every time I said it. It might not be like straight away the next day, but it will happen. Well enough of writing for today. Am really tired now and still have to do my assignments which are not finished yet.
