Back from MIAing
It has been a long time since i last wrote anything here. Was very tired after camp and so did not write anything, then was busy with some other stuff, so did not write too.
So lets have a recap of what i have done in the pass few weeks.
First, camp. It was really fun, there were a few things that goes wrong here and there, but it was alright. Most of all, the freshies had lots of fun, and the feedback was quite good. Some bad things that happened to me was, during the disco night, someone knock on to me and my glasses broke. Well at least i can say that god prepared for me a new glasses and i got it haha. Not going to talk a lot about it, cause it will take too long and my laziness is telling me not to write too, sorry folks. But one thing i want to write is, i finally understand why alot of my seniors left the club after the camp. Not going to write why, but i know i am not going to leave like they did, cause our batch have decided to change the way they do things in club.
So so much for the camp huh, next the FOP, freshmen orientation programme. Its a programme, again by us to let the freshie to know their classmates, and also get to know how to use the school stuff. Think we did a great job compair to the last year :P. This year, we even have a international student talk thingy. I was ask to talk to the indonesian students. I did not even know untill the very last minute. Was a little nervous at first, but then was alright. Told them how is school in SP and stuff. I even met up a indo girl, which is accutally my sec school classmate ex girlfriend twin sister. A little confuse right, but never mind i was confuse too haha.
So next is about my caregroup outing. Never have i regret joining my church caregroup. Well they were not what i expected to be, but much more better then what i had thought they would be. Everybody there are all so erm i don't really know what is the word to put. Everything they talk about, would always relate back to god. Oh ya, the outing, we went to watch ice age 2 together, then went shopping later on. It was a rainy day, so we had to run in the rain for awhile. Well not really gonna say much in detail, cause once again it will be very long.
Next it's school. I am now finally a year 2 student, a senior. Manage to ask the lecturer in charge to have me take all the stage B modules plus my forward , module. Must really thanks god for helping me in this. If not, i would have to graduate from school half a year later then usual people. Well the timetable is alittle pack, but its alright, i believe he will bring me throught all this.
The first week was quite alright. Already i am quite interested in some of my modules. Mostly the programming ones. Had alot of fun on the first week, like gathering most of the club people together on day 1 and had our shout out at foodcourt6. People were all looking at us, it was very fun. Then we also had to plan for the FOR, its a reunion thing for the freshies that went for camp and also for others that did not to join in and have fun. Afew of the club people and me went to east coast park late at night to check out the BBQ pits. Found out that alot was fully booked already. Well atleast we manage to get a good spot in the end. Now i pray that they weather on that day would be great and also everything will go as plan.
Finally, its about church again. Yes i went to bible study for the first time. It was really great, it is around the same as the main service, but somehow a little different. Not sure how to say, but it was great, lean alot of things and realise alot of things that i did not before. Then had campus service on saturday which was really great too. After campus, i met up with the guys at clarke quay. They intend to go settler's but it was full. Anyway, we had a fun time as usual, even though its just the usual catch up. The new batch went to army and tell us all about it, the older batch talk about their experience too. It was really fun to listen to them talk about it.
So that is what mostly what happened for the past few weeks. Oh maybe just one thing i would liek to write down too. I gave the small gift i bought fromtaiwan to her. When i asked her to give the thing to her, she had this really BIG EYE look. I don't know what she was thinking, but she looked really funny and cute haha. Found out from a senior that the final year project during year 3, we might have to partner with people from other options. I was really down when i knew i was posted to mobile application option and she was in information system option. But when i know that in FYP, i might get to partner with her, i had my hopes up. Well i shall pray to god that i will get to partner with her in my FYP in year 3.
So thats all i guess. Have BLESSED DAY to everyone.
